Abstract
The research will show how mashups based on the integration of aggregated (historical) market information (more specifically, market information gathered in developing countries using a voice-based platform) and linked data can be used by local NGO's for new types of analyses on the existing market data.
We intend to use the linked data approach in integrating market data from various regions and in integrating market data with sources of knowledge on agriculture and economics that are available on the web. The possibilities for precise querying are expected to enable Sahel Eco to monitor relevant market changes in new ways.
