Abstract

Ibis Deploy is a front-end for Ibis, which allows the deployment of distributed applications on clusters and grids using a graphical interface. Adding the possibility to visualize information about the deployed applications gives the user the opportunity to better understand their behavior and possibly identify flaws in their execution.
Within this context, the master project aims to design and implement an extensible visualization framework which can be plugged into the Ibis Deploy application. After designing an architecture for the framework, two types of visualizations will be implemented: one in 2D and one in 3D, after which their advantages and disadvantages can be weighed.
