Abstract
In this project, we explore the practicality of a distributed messaging middleware called MicroObjects in the setting of wireless sensor networks. Our system, known as TinyMO, is capable of rapidly distributing data throughout a sensor network with minimal hints from the application layer, increasing the usability and reliability of these networks. We test our system across a wide-range of simulated network deployments and condi- tions and find that the MicroObject model is indeed applicable to sensor networks and may be an interesting area of further research.
