Description

Problem: Scientific data processing is commonly modeled as workflows. However, it is open very difficult to exactly reproduce a particular outcome, and the results are often not well linked to standard identifiers.

Solution: We can apply Linked Data technologies to make such data workflows more reproducible and interlinked.

Method: We can apply the nanopublication approach to Linked Data representation (http://nanopub.org) and apply it to the popular KNIME workflow tool (http://www.knime.org/) to allow for Linked Data empowered data workflows.
