Abstract
Performance of a Software Development group can be entailed by the communication patterns that exist within it. Centralized communication patterns, or distributed subgroups are some examples. We will mine the communication archives of open source projects as to reconstruct the social network that went on it in an effort to analyze it and extract valuable information that can correlated to team performance. We will draw some conclusions that will further enhance the software engineering literature involved with open source software.
