Description

In the context of the Active2Gether project, we are investigating whether we can use data from a FitBit activity monitor and logs of GPS location to get an understanding of the commuting behaviour of persons: are they taking public transport, bike, foot, or car?

Goal: investigate whether GPS data and activity monitor data can be used to understand behavioral patterns

  • type of transport
  • activity level per location

Experimental setup ready!

  • data collection relatively easy

Requested characteristics:

  • interest in experimental research
  • data transformation skills
