Abstract

Feasibility study at ING for implementing an “Operational Intelligence” solution

There is a strong need for an “Operational Intelligence” solution at ING for the infra- and IT Service monitoring. Several internal clients have voiced a need for such a solution. For the implementation of a “Operational Intelligence” solution a feasibility study has to be done through one or multiple “Proof of Concepts” (POCs). The feasibility study is not only to show the feasibility but also the added value and internal workings of the solution at ING.

The objectives defined are:

• Information study on the Operational Intelligence (Splunk) field.

• Proof of Concept Operational Intelligence (Splunk).

• Create a framework for Tooling for Operational Intelligence (Splunk).
