Identifying the core elements of service orientation from both economic and IT perspective specifically for cloud-based services. This project defines the fundamentals of service orientation specific for cloud environments. More precisely this project answers the following questions:

  • What are typical actor types?
  • What are typical services?
  • What are typical contracts?
  • What are typical reciprocal value exchanges?

Approach: Interview Survey with both business and technical stakeholders and a case study for evaluating the utility and relevance of the Core Elements
