Plan9 has nice way by which one can mount remote cpu on local machine. This way, user gets the compute resources of server, while maintaining the local environment and filesystem.

This project aims to provide similar functionality on any OS which can run Inferno in hosted environment. Above mentioned functionality of plan9 provide one to one mapping between mounted CPU and mount-point. This project plans to improve it by making one to many mapping. By this, you can mount entire cluster as single CPU, and this interface will hide all complexities of various resources behind simple filesystem style interface.
