Searching through geo spatial temporal event data can be a very complex task. This data typically represents the who, what, where and when of an entity. With the current available used user interfaces, we need to work with filters. These filters are defined according to the search context which can be used in a facet browser. These facet browsers are used by, Netflix and Google Earth in order to filter information. An uniform solution for searching through geo spatial temporal data is currently not available. With our to be developed user interface solution, we mainly want to focus on search queries like: which vessels were hijacked during a trip between Rotterdam and y by pirates from x? But our user interface might also be applicable for queries like: Which movies are made after the second world war, do have an actor from Japan, who is married to someone from Indonesia?
